Bright Orphanage Project Uganda focus on holistic development and empowerment initiatives for orphaned and vulnerable children in Mbale, Eastern Uganda. Through our Education Program, we provide access to quality schooling and vocational training, ensuring each child has the skills and knowledge to build a successful future. Our Health and Well-being initiatives prioritize medical care, nutrition, and mental health support to ensure the children grow up healthy and resilient. Additionally, our Community Outreach efforts aim to strengthen families, prevent child abandonment, and promote sustainable livelihoods through skills training and income-generating activities. At Bright Orphanage Project, we are committed to transforming lives by creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive and achieve their full potential.
Education Improvement
Our Education Program ensures that orphaned and vulnerable children in Mbale receive access to quality schooling and vocational training. We believe that education is a fundamental tool for empowering children and preparing them for a brighter future.
Family Strengthening
We provide parenting classes, day care, and income-generating activities to support parents in crisis. By empowering families with the tools and resources they need, we aim to prevent the unnecessary separation of children from their homes and ensure that they can grow up in a loving and stable family environment.
Health and Well-being Initiatives
Through our Health and Well-being Initiatives, we prioritize the physical and mental health of the children. This includes access to medical care, nutritious meals, and psychological support, ensuring their overall well-being and resilience.
Reuniting Children with Birth Families
Whenever possible and safe, reuniting children with their birth families is our top priority. We work diligently to address the underlying issues that led to their separation. By providing support and solutions to these problems, we help families come back together, ensuring that children can return to a familiar and loving environment.
Community Outreach
Our Community Outreach projects focus on strengthening families and preventing child abandonment. We provide support services to vulnerable families, including skills training and income-generating activities, to promote self-sufficiency and family preservation.
HIV/AIDS Awareness and Prevention
We conduct HIV/AIDS Awareness and Prevention programs to educate children and the community on health practices that reduce the risk of infection. This includes promoting safe behavior and providing access to necessary healthcare services.

At Bright Orphanage Project Uganda, we recognize the transformative power of education in breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering future generations. However, for many children in Eastern Uganda, access to quality education remains a distant dream due to financial constraints. That’s why we are launching our School Fees Fundraiser, a campaign dedicated to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to pursue their educational aspirations.
The Need: In communities across Eastern Uganda, countless children are forced to forego their education due to the inability to afford school fees, uniforms, and other essential supplies. This financial barrier perpetuates a cycle of disadvantage, limiting opportunities for these children and hindering their potential for a brighter future.

Enhance children protection system to dealing with the prevention of child abuse in general, anti-bullying or prevention of child sexual abuse.
